This is a program of films created on photochemical film curated by Emmanuel Lefrant who lives and works in Paris. The films prove the medium’s vitality, its enduring vibrancy, and magic. Lefrant is the director of Light Cone, a Paris-based distributor of experimental films, that holds a collection of 7,000 titles. His films rely on the idea of representing and revealing an invisible world, the secret forms of the emulsion.
パリ在住のエマニュエル・ルフランが選んだ、フィルムで制作された映画作品です。これらの映画をみた観客は、フィルムの生命力、その永続的な活気、魔法に魅了されています。ルフランは、パリを拠点とする実験映画の配給会社であるライト・コーンのディレクターで、7,000 タイトルのコレクションを所蔵しています。彼の映画は、目に見えない世界、つまり乳剤の秘密の構造を表現するというアイデアに基づいています。
